Contrary to popular belief, I was not raised in the country. In fact, I was born and raised in the city! It wasn't until I met my now husband and his family that I fully embraced the rural lifestyle. But as soon as I was introduced to rural living, I didn't just dip my toes in, I dove in head first; pulling lambs, shearing sheep, gardening, helping with the grain farming, and harvesting and handling wild game.
The passion evolved quickly and I consumed every resource I could get her hands on. I live with my husband and animals on 5 acres in rural Alberta, Canada and teach others how to be Rural At Heart.
